Isn't it funny that if we get an email littered with spelling or grammatical errors, we automatically think, "Gee, how unprofessional!" But when was the last time we looked at proper email and remarked, "This person's writing is so professional

I actually explicitly notice the professional ones, but more because of tone than grammar-- like if they just seem caring or polite...

Also because I get a lot of them from 19 year olds (since I teach college freshmen and hire undergraduates) so when they write a really professional one it's just really noticeable...
