I went to Barnes & Noble today. I love going there; I could spend hours there (as I do). So I decided to start a collection of books, I bought a couple of the classics: Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, and Les Miserables(full version) by Victor Hugo. I know Catcher isn't a classic, but it's my favorite. Anyway, I wanted to buy The Outsiders ( Read more... )

David tells me the same thing
What does David tell you all the time?

lol, yup, the only one. And only after I heard the discussions in class, when it was too late to get credit for it. :D It's my favorite book, though, and I've read it at least 10 times. Isn't the point of education? Anyway, I think Holden is the best fictional character I've ever read about. You should read a book called "The Stranger" by Albert Camus. Listen to a song called Killing an Arab by the Cure, first. Maybe Dave has it. Or Gilbert. It's based on that book, And it's pretty awesome.

"I hate being guilted into things, especially forking over some cash, because I'm also in need."

That's what he always tells me. =D
