Dating in the Bible Belt's a bitch, ain't it? (Although the blow is a little softer for me, because i'm not a hippie pinko commie vegetarian. =P) And, at least around here, you can add in the fact that everyone expects you to be married by 23 at the latest.
What exactly does one do on a hippie pinko commie vegetarian (Herafter HPCV) field trip, anyway? Visit a rhubarb farm? Tour a tofu factory? Check out the new exhibits at the Museum of Modern Carrots?
Hah! I like this new concept of HPVC. Our field trip will include some sort of museum, though I doubt it includes carrots. But more important is the lunch at a veggie restaurant and the afternoon at a wine tasting :) The museum of mordern carrots sounds fascinating though...maybe I should create one....
And as for dating in the Bible Belt......yeah, you about summed that up. The whole being married by 23 is pretty well enforced up here as well. The female teachers keep trying to set me up...ARG! This is particularly amusing since they try to hook me up thru their churches...they don't know me very well.
