I think I'm going to throw in the anarchy towel. I don't think of it as the ideal society anymore. I came to this conclusion the other day when I got pulled over for speeding, going 50 in a 25. I like to think of myself as a good person, and the underlying theme of anarchy is that everyone is a good person, until corrupted by government. If there weren't speed limits I would speed everywhere, as would everyone else. I don't see how roads would be regulated in an anarchy. I know some roads would be private, but would they have rent-a-cops enforcing the regulations? Would there be regulations? I think the world is too developed right now for any part short of a third world country to sustain a civil anarchy. Anyone see a flaw in my logic? I hope so because I still love the idea of an anarchy. Unfortunately I think I'm calling it quits on anarchy.
Also, let's please be kind. I'm sure if I had changed this entry into "how would roads be regulated in an anarchy" the first few people below wouldn't have felt so obligated to be dicks.
