Apparently some horse named Barbaro died today after an 'epic' and 'heroic' struggle to overcome injuries caused by the very owners who wanted to save it. People are getting very bent out of shape about it, and grieving, planning elaborate funerals (one guy suggested it should be buried on the White House grounds) for it, and crying over this ' ( Read more... )

The only right and proper way to lay a dead horse to rest is to put it's head in the bed of someone who has it coming. In which case the whitehouse would be a good place to start.

I don't hate horses and it's still sad when a loved pet dies but that they are making this out to be so big and as tragic as the loss of a human life, especially one of a soldier is bullshit.
