Start applying for scholarships now, the money usually lasts for atleast four years (unless they just send you the check) and with an extra year you can beef up the college fund even more because northern schools are expensive as fuck (University of Chicago is 55 grand a year which made me sad :(). I do wish you the best of luck on getting out of this city of near-death, I am doing the same (looking forward to August XD).
