Time for another 221B.
What question does John want Sherlock to ask?
221B - Just ask!
“You can always just ask, you know.”
Sherlock, who was busy picking his clothes from the floor, looked up.
“Ask what?”
John raised his head from the pillow and looked at the man who just brought him to a glorious orgasm.
“You know what I'm talking about. You always do.”
“That is not true. Especially when it has to do with emotions. This is what makes you so fascinating, John.” He smiled. “What do you want me to ask?”
“Oh never mind.”
“You are upset. Clearly this is important to you.” Sherlock sat down besides John. “We just had sex. There aren’t that many questions one would ask afterwards. You referred to the fact that I was leaving. You want me to ask if I can stay.”
“Would it be a problem for you to ask?”
“Do you want me to stay?”
“No.”
“You don’t want me to stay. As I assumed. Then why are we talking about this?”
“I want you to want to stay.”
Sherlock blinked.
“I’m just tired of watching you leave every night. Don’t you think we reached a point where we can admit that this is more than sex?”
“In fact I do. Very.”
“Then ask.”
“John, can I stay?” It was barely a whisper.
John smiled.
“Yes, Sherlock. I’d like that. Come back to bed.”
