tb tests arent bad...u get a little shot in ur hand, then go back 2-3 days later and they see if it swells or leaves a bump. any doc office/clinic will do it. most people have to get that done for work. especially if you work around kids. but most places wont be able to do it thurs/fri since u have to be back within a certain time frame. u should be able to get it done for $150 or less.
When I volunteered at Baptist before, they were done for free by the hospital through the employee services something something. Its about the size of an insulin needle, so nothing to worry about there (and I'm a needle phobic).

and yeah, the TB test isnt bad. we had to get those like every year for school or something in germany. crazy department of defense school system. although i have no idea how much it costs. the older i get the more i find myself appalled at just how expensive health care is. i guess i always assumed it was all free for everyone. sheltered by the military...
i got the shot from the hospital... for free... as a "courtesy". they're technically not suppossed to do it for baby photographers, but since the receptionist f-ed up and told me they would do it... they decided to go ahead.
so thank goodness. and i get it read tomorrow... but i don't have TB. all i have is a small bruise. definetly better than the shots i used to get at St. Jude a couple years ago.
i had my orientation today... it rocked. w00t. i'm gonna love my job.
