Things I like: Since I am but a newbie to comics, I still like how easy it is to fall into comics. Missed an issue? Here's a recap! Not exactly a series person? Have some awesome one-shots! (The Arkham ones in general, where they profile Batman's villains? Delicious.) And also they are wonderfully cheap. It's much more satisfying to drop $6 on WW 600 (which I totally have boarded and bagged in my room because I am a dork) when the average is $3. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than manga, too, at least in individual volumes.
Things I dislike: ...okay, as much as I adore the Zenescope Grimm Fairy Tales concepts and characters and everything, sometimes--as a straight girl--I do not need to see that much boob or short Halloween costumes, okay. This isn't just a problem in that series, though. I feel like sometimes, authors just go for the obvious sex appeal of a girl-in-revealing-costume thing when there are other ways to do that. Girls and guys can be sexy without necessarily revealing a lot of skin, and I just wish that ( ... )
