Ha! I read this and thought, "She must live in New England." Checked your User info and sure enough! My word, this winter has been insane. I miss it sometimes, to be honest, though I'm just as happy that I don't have to drive in it anymore. Fingers crossed that it was just a sugar snow, and will be gone by the end of the weekend. And that the power stays on!

I actually would say the overall snow profile was not as bad as some past years. This year it just seemed that when it did snow there was more all at once. The road for the cluster I live in is basically an oval, and my property starts right at the point where one end of the semicircle meets the straightaway. So much of the snow from the semicircle gets pushed up into my front yard. The pile this year was at least five feet and what's out there right now is probably still over two if not close to three. What's left in the road is that wet, ucky slush.

It's still snowing now although what started after one is much smaller flakes then the huge stuff we were getting this morning. Big thing will be whether or not it turns into rain or something in between. I'd be willing to bet there's still going to be quite a bit left out there on Monday. Unless we get some very heavy rain I wouldn't be surprised some makes it to next weekend.

Haven't had the UPS alarm for quite a while so keeping fingers crossed there.

I'm not sure why but New England seems to be getting all of the really big snow storms this year. Good luck dealing with the aftermath!

Was not as bad as expected, down here, but still more snow than I would like to see actually falling in April. Hope you made it through ok and that spring really comes, now.

Even after all the rain over the last few days there's still a bit of plow pile out there.
