Yay, Me!

Tom and I are going to do a bit of a bike-a-thon in July with some people from (his) work, giving me a few months to improve the shape of my health.  So, wish me luck as I once again start a workout plan.  I started this morning, and so far, so good! :)

Well, maybe not that much, but getting out every few days in a steady schedule makes all the difference. You're going to need to build up some base fitness first.

I can't really comment on helping you with a way to keep at it... mostly because i have to have to stay active by nature.
I hear people say to set time for it on the same day of the week, and just to get into a constant schedule makes all the difference. Well, and not telling your self you don't want to go because its cold out or something.

Well, the first thing I am going to do is just get back in shape! I am using my rower every day, just to lose some weight, build up endurance, and get my O2 intake back up to where it was a few years ago. And, by the way, it is damn cold :P It's about 34 degrees Fahrenheit right now, and it's already almost 10:00am. And, it's raining... You have suggestions for cold weather riding? I think I may start trolling Michigan biking boards.... This was so much easier in Florida, lol! (And, btw, I am not making excuses! I will do this - positive thinking ftw!)
