lols its a malay book. i have returned it and now that u mention it, i cant seem to even rmbr the title nor the author (tho i rmbr the second name is aneesa).

i have read really good malay books to an extent i rmbr the author's name and search for all her other books (and make sure i read each and every one but get disappointed each time when the author doesnt write that many books) but this is definitely not one of them.

i have a feeling that you think i read a vampire book. is this true? ;)

Haha oddly no I didn't think of vampire books although it's true there were a couple of series I read that made me feel like STAKING the authors for complete utter failure.

I don't think it's too much to ask for plot consistency within the space of one book, and I'm glad you didn't spend a dollar on it.

I probably won't know who you're referring to even if you rem her name, I'm not v well versed in Malay lit. Partly cos I read much slower in Malay and so give up more often than not, and partly cos I've no idea where to start.

Btw, are these reads for leisure or part of the syllabus you teach? :)

its for leisure. but now that u mention it, i should start reading for sch purposes. need to find more lit esp short stories for the boys to read.

but thats the prob. that they are boys, and i have to find those themes that match their interest. susah lor. if they're not interested jgn harap they will even open the book unless i turn it into assignment! currently am forcing them to read berita harian. easiest and safest way. :p

they are very rigid with their narrative writing now. having them read more malay fiction will hopefully allow them to write more 'beautifully' using literary devices. tough tough job! ;p
