The 'ripple effects' of the Indian Ocean tsunamis are being felt throughout the world in the form of unusual weather conditions or changes in the tidal patters of bodies of water as far away from the epicentre as Mexico. Even here we have been feeling the effects as high winds cause power cuts

In my City, Muncie, Indiana...we had a freakish Ice storm that basically shut the city down and we were in a "state of emergency" for aout a week. I had power, luckily, the whole time.

It looked like a warzone here though...

Yikes! I'm glad you're okay!!! Was anybody killed or injured? While I certainly don't believe in the religious aspects of the prophecies in the book of Revelations, I do believe that there will be an 'apocalypse' in the sense that the famine, disease, wars and natural disasters predicted by John will precede the end of an age. It is my personal believe that while John did, indeed, see the visions described his interpretation of their 'meaning' was flawed by being too heavily influenced by his religious beliefs.
But, then again, some might say that this opinion is too heavily impacted by my own spirituality. LOL

It's so hard in this world of the internet to prove credibility in these cases. There were some accusations early on (which hurtful, but predictable), but since then people have been more accepting of it. I miss her everyday and I know her friends, like you, feel the same. Isn't it odd how we both thought about her LJ at the same time? Sometimes I wonder about spiritual influences ...
