This proverb reminded me of a joke I heard a long time ago. I don't remember it word for word, but the premise was something like this

I really like your tone and your message. I think all those "healing" prayers are scams too. It's really unfortunate that some people are gullible enough to buy into it. I mean, just look at all those "Rapture" people.
