There just don't seem to be as many Trick Or Treaters anymore. At least, not the traditional kind that we were when we were little. Kids today go to church parties, or malls to get candy. A lot of it has to do with safety, I think.

We don't get any trick-or-treaters at my house, either. We're not really in a neighborhood, just off by ourselves away from the subdivisions, so no one bothers. I miss it.

But trick-or-treating is different now, too. A lot of my customers today talked to me about that (I work in a grocery store). There's now only a short window of time designated for it (3:30 to 6:00 in my town!), and some people don't go house to house at all, anymore, but only to controlled events, as someone else mentioned. It's kinda sad.

Nice take on the topic!

Hey, great entry. I always scorned at the people driving around from house to house. Or the teens in cars without costumes trick or treating. I love Halloween . I hope you get more trick or treaters this year!

I enjoyed reading about your Halloween traditions. I don't think dogs will ever stop being young at heart. :)
