1. Am avoiding making a tough (work-related) phone call. *sigh*
2. Have renamed my work sector "Pits and Plants" for the type of site documents populated my desk (and mind) 
3. Ran the loteria game at the block party; we played for white elephant prizes. 
4. September = the urge to purge. Good-bye playdoh fun factory. 
5. Got my first rejection letter.

Ha ha! I think getting rejection letters really DOES qualify you as a true writer!

I know what you mean about cleaning out during cooler weather. The city dump here is "free" during the month of October and I'm just itching to get into my attic and toss stuff.
