Here I am. Moving in was slightly stressful but okay. When I checked in, they asked me if I was a freshman, and I said that I was, and half of them yelled "FRESHMAN FLIP FLOPS!" and threw a pair at me. They're sort of ugly but I suppose I can use them in the shower. I pretty much like the room. My roommate is very nice, but she doesn't drink tea

Wow! You talked to a guy for an hour, he got your cell phone number, and called you when you didn't show up? That's about the friendliest thing I've ever seen a stranger do.

Well, sort of, we hung out a bunch during the summer orientation.

I'm drinking tea I just made with my snazzy electric kettle. It is so wonderful and delicious.
