Muad'dib decided to pose for me today, so I got a couple of snapshots of her.
Here's the first one:
She'd just gone up for a breath of air, and came back down. She seemed to be aiming for the green cryptocorynes, but came up on the rock instead and decided to chill for a minute. Usually when I start to come near the tank with a camera, she moves, and she has to be pretty close to the front for this camera to get a good shot of her. This time she was okay with being photographed.
About 10 minutes later, she came up to look at me, and again decided that the camera was okay stuff. If she seems a little blurry, it's because there's a thin layer of algae on the tank wall near the gravel, that I have a hard time scrubbing off (cos I don't want to stir up the gravel). Look at her little face and big webbed feet!
Here I put a bottlecap next to her for size comparison. She is considerably smaller than my thumb. :D
