I discovered an interesting feature of LJ today. It is called "notes." If you go to someone's info page on LJ, you'll see an option to add a note for that user. That note shows up whenever you look at that user's profile, and from then on their name comes with an asterix next to it, to notify you that you made a note.
This way, if someone is an asshole or something, all you need to do is leave a note and then in the future if you ever encounter them on LJ, all you have to do is call up the note to remember why!
I tried it out on you. From now on, you are "Anax-- secret spoon." XD IT'S TRUE BECAUSE IT'S TRUE.

Well, it's not like this is the first time this idea has appeared as canon in a TF series - IDW went way, way, way out of their way to make the Decepticon Cause sympathetic in Megatron Origin. Too far, IMHO. At least TFA wasn't explicit in trying to make the Decepticons into freedom fighters, it's just sort of hinted-at a lot. We are never told, for instance, just what the Great War was all about. It's implied in the first ep that it's the G1 Great War, but that interpretation doesn't fit with any subsequent mythos, so we're left in the dark right up until the end.
I am uncomfortable with antihero Decepticons. In G1, it was never really stated what the Decepticon Cause was, beyond maybe "ruling the universe" which is frankly kind of a stupid flag for the Decepticons to rally around. I'm not comfortable with this interpretation either, because it's just dumb, so I understand the urge to come up with a more reasonable and believable motive for the Decepticons. However, there are ways to make them have a believable motive that is
