Yeah, a lot of homosexuals want a "normal life." Normal life can be achieved through equality and acceptance, not more closeting. Fie upon Orson Scott Card.

I'm so glad I started considering him dead years ago.

The argument is horribly flawed anyway. He says society pressures them into believing they are gay with any sort of sexual attraction for the same sex. Yet a homosexual will suffer through their entire lives denying themselves these attractions without them going away. He makes it seem like its just a curiousity.

Genetic attributes have been shown in every single form. From the simple fact that transexuals exist proves that it is possible for someone to have genes of both sexes and at differant levels. Also, similiarties in bone structure have been shown. Less determinable, yet nevertheless, it is a fact that women blink twice as much as men, and similarities are shown among that as well.

Lastly, anyone who believes homosexuality exists mainly through rape, pedophilia, etc. Must then recognise that straight perversions would be the cuase. Should take pity on a homosexual, and have no one to blame for how it came about that way.
