Eurovision

It's not uncommon for me to write a running commentary for Eurovision in my LJ as the songs come by. This year I didn't because I'm packing for the Brighton conference, and also mostly because I can't be arsed.

I will however express my opinion of the UK entry:

It's my time~ )

LOL. The UK entry looks lulzworthy, but I kind of love Jade Ewen because she was in this Australian TV show I watched when I was younger.

I love Moldova, Romania and Malta~

To be fair, the song itself was sang BRILLIANTLY. Hats off to Jade Ewen (whoever she is) for singing with such a powerful, excellent voice.

Shame the song seemed to consist mostly of the same three words over and over again. XD

Still, we came 5th, which is very respectable, methinks.

I totally agree on both the count that if Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote that and thought it wasn't crap he's on something and the count that the Ukraine should have won. That poor lass has nowhere to live now!

Well, that kind of sums it up. It's all she says, really. I did so want Albania to win though. Them or Azerbaijan- everyone else except Greece took it all far too seriously, though I'd never vote for someone with that much of an abdominal spasm.

Actually, what am I saying? Not Albania. Some other Eastern European country beginning with A, but Albania scared me.
