when I started reading this, I was like 'woah', but I actually feel the exact same way. it seems like the recent fans are only out there to bash groups, try to annoy all the other fans and it's terrible. where did the fun part of being a fan go?

but yeah, I'm just here to say I know where you come from. and I hope that those fans won't bother you in the future, because it ruins the fun of music.

Nah, I don't think recent fans are the problem, although they do sometimes get involved like they've been here since forever. I'm mostly referring to the veterans of fandoms, who have been fighting and carrying enmity for years. I'm not saying I'm the one to talk, because I don't consider myself one of them (I think I still have a little to go 'till I get there), but still, I took time to learn about all groups, I did thorough research on their histories, I've dedicated much time even to the least popular artists, simply because I don't wanna be like one of those ignorants who've only heard about the popular groups, like SNSD or Big Bang, and don't even bother paying attention to anybody else. And then they go talk crap like they're experts or something, I don't know. It jugs bugs me having to witness constant name-calling on every goddamn site I go on, it's like a virus that keeps spreading and there's no point in it.

With recent I didn't mean just the new fans, but more all the fans that are out there. I just don't know if there's a word for that in English, so I said it like that. But yeah, most of the time it are the veterans. I think as a fan you should do research on other groups than just the one you like, since the world doesn't just revolve around the most popular group. The name-calling is quite terrible, I agree. I wish there was something that could be done about it, but once you mention something the whole thing just blows up.
