Yahoo is now displaying a notice that Yahoo Groups functionality will cease on December 15th, 2020. This isn't really a surprise, given they got rid of the message archives last fall, but it's unfortunate.

I've read some of the more academic asexuality-focused books/articles, and this new book Ace by Angela Chen is definitely more approachable. I really appreciate its intersectional and multidimensional approach, with chapters focused on race and disability to go along with the chapters on feminism, romance, friendship, and compulsory sexuality. It's Saturday! I have things I need to do this weekend, but it's already after 3 and I haven't made much progress yet. Boo.

thoughts on Essentialism (book)
I just finished reading Essentialism: The disciplined pursuit of less by Greg McKeown. It's not a bad book, but I didn't find it nearly as satisfying as How to do Nothing by Jenny Odell (which is not directly comparable in terms of subject matter, but I kept thinking of it while I read Essentialism).
