Done and Dusted

Well, I did it.  The J2AU version of Redemption is no longer posted on my LJ and the new Kindle e-book version is available on Amazon.

I have to admit...having a book on Amazon is kind of cool (even if I'm the one who uploaded it there). :-)

I've got to stop talking about myself... )

Good luck with your sales! :D

For my own curiosity, why did you decide to go with Kindle self-publishing rather than submitting to a press? I'm interested in all paths that people take towards publication.

I liked the ease of it, the control and, frankly, the earning potential. Plus, I happen to be living in a community where multiple people I know have gone the epublishing route and done okay. So having that kind of built-in support made it more attractive.

Thanks for the support!

good luck, but take it from me, watch out for those 'refresh' buttons - they'll drive you nuts! It'll likely take some time for people to find your story, too, but I'm sure they will:).

I can already see the potential for that! :-)

I'll do my best to keep away.

I would imagine it is similar to posting your first fan fic story, which I know had me so excited back in the day. It will find it's audience, I'm sure of it. :)

You are a sweetheart. I don't think I can say "thank you" nearly enough. :-)
