My cat Socks died last night....

My cat Socks died last night, Sunday, around 8:30pm PST. It had been 16 days since we had taken him to the vet. I think we just prolonged the process by taking him to the vet and giving him the IV fluids and all the meds. But it did give me a chance to say good-bye to him. We knew he was really starting to get bad again about 5 days ago and then

Thanks to everybody for your support. I have my good days. Today was one of them, until my 2 year old kitty Livia starting meowing and wandering around the house looking for him. She misses him too. They were buds. We got her when she was only 5 weeks old, so he kind of became a surrogate mother/father. I'll be OK. It's just so hard sometimes to accept the cycles of life. I just wanted to take the the time to say thanks, I really appreciated your posts.
