( In which we learn Banshees are kind of like vampires, Gabrielle is sometimes way too stubborn about trying to find the good in people, Xena is sometimes way too stubborn about refusing to believe there might be good in some people, there could've been a Once and Future Warrior Princess if anyone had been paying attention, and everyone in this story is being a complete idiot. )

[at least you softened some of the worst of it, and ignored some of the rest.

Although the throwaway bit with Excalibur always makes me giggle.]
