Everybody looks better (aka sexier) in Renaissance clothes! You should get Joe and Stacy to take you to a SCA event (one that isn't in the middle of nowhere, that is).

The rock was a big splurge, but it's our 10-year wedding anniversary gift to ourselves since it's almost the same Celtic knot design on our rings. Also, the guy who carved the rock donates all proceeds to wildlife rescue and children's art projects. So good karma all around.

The faire actually have a lot of nice stuff for reasonable prices especially considering they were hand-made. It's a good place to stock up because the stuff is pretty special.

Would you like a vintage Coldspot Super-Mart refrigerator? 'Cause I know where you can get one...

We used to go to a small Faire in Pittsburg every year when my niece was little. We really loved it. One year they had Two-Minute Shakespeare where they performed two minute versions of the plays; she found that very fascinating... I did too!

And BTW you look marvelous.
