I'd almost say that Rocky would have to be an OC... I'm the sort that would rather write like a whole big subplot to balance in the canon of the show then stick to the letter and just pug the characters into roles though. If I'd going musical it's going to be more than a play :D... Serves Him right if he tries to make a handsome Rocky and got the Mayor though..see that's right where my mind goes XD I actually often cast Him as Riff Raff in my head, just becauser making him the DR seems to be something eveyone and their aunt thinks would happen. Put a spin on it with a monkey theme and the DR role is Mojo's in the bag IMHO :3
I read somewhere that Richard O'Brien said Riff Raff actually did most of the work on Rocky but Frank N. Furter claimed credit. So that makes me wonder--to balance in canon, couldn't Mojo be Riff Raff and Rocky could be...well, I guess all 3 Rowdyruff Boys? Or just Boomer, since he's the blonde. Oh, I don't know...
Been there, did that in head, still to put on paper. The trouble with musical fics is they are hard to balance with detail and music..and plus you get the people that hate them :(
I wasn't intending to make it a musical fic, actually, just toying with the idea of shoving PPG characters in the Rocky Horror world :) I think it would be quite comedic.
