Riley, the 20 month-old boy I'm living with, is nothing if not a good learner. For instance, he has learned that begging for food from me is very effective, since I always share a little. How could I deny him? Well, I've learned some things too, and one of them is not to share chocolate pretzels with him. As it turns out, when Riley was even ( Read more... )

I'm assuming that Riley is a dog, and just so you know, both grapes and chocolate are on the do-not-eat list for them. I only discovered the grapes thing when I was looking into making natural dog biscuits, and I thought about putting raisins in them - apparently there's something in grapes that can be really bad for dogs. Granted, all dogs have different levels of tolerance for these kinds of foods, but you might want to avoid it in the future.

That being said, my cat LOVES mac and cheese. And ramen. She's kind of a carb whore.

Hahahahaha, no, Riley is definitely human, despite the habit of begging for food. I am aware of the chocolate and grape problems for dogs, and wouldn't feed those things to pets anyway.

I guess I never did explain my new living situation on livejournal. When I moved back to San Diego at the end of December, I moved into a house where I'm renting a room from a family. When I moved in, the parents (whose ages I don't actually know but I'd guess at late 20s) had one son, Riley, who was 18 months at the time, and the mother was pregnant, but now that baby has been born and is two weeks old. Needless to say, there will probably be lots of baby stories in the coming months XD
