This was perfect. I just can't, the slow bulding of their relationship was really deep, the particular issue adding a nice layer to it. I loved your voices on both Steve and Tony and how things turned out at the end. Truly pefect.
I'll admit, I was terribly sceptical when I read the summary (I greatly enjoyed Pushing Daises and had no idea how the two would merge well) but then I was like, hey, it's jibrailis, it's gotta be good. And it wasn't just good, it was fabulous and amazing and blew my mind. Clearly I must start stalking and_backagain (also, awesome username, I cannot wait for the movie!) as well as jibrailis!
You captured their budding friendship so beautifully, and oh, Tony's not being able to attend his parent's funeral because the temptation to touch would be too great was heartbreaking. And the slow build of Tony's feelings for and attraction to Steve, his sheer need to touch, was perfect.
My heart was breaking for them because I couldn't think of a way for them to be together without touching, and then the Null Room was mentioned and I was like !!!!! (Also, I sat up straighter when Roanoke was mentioned because one, I just had a lecture today on the travel literature of English settlement in the New World that mentioned Roanoke and two, Marvel
