Actually I think that Holmes looks exactly like Jeremy Brett, on the screen above also. What a shame that it was not possible to switch the characters more often. Nice that Frogwares based their designs on the some of the best performances (as for Watson he looks a bit similar to David Burke, pity that Lestrade doesn't show resemblance to Colin Jeavons).

I liked the dark atmosphere of the game (much alike "Silk house" book) and plot - up to to the moment when it started to fall apart a bit. The game leaves a lot of unaswered questions. Also it seems that the creators had to omit some parts while developing the game, because they are parts which seems to be left out (for example - what the hell was in that mysterious package Holmes was carring around in the judge's house? Why Watson goes to sewers - does he have mysterious six sense also? Who is Moriarty's boss?). Don't like the idea with Holmes bringing up Moriarty's child - completely not into the character.

Thank you so much for sharing your opinion!
I was beginning to think I was the only gamer here. ;)

Totally!

That was pretty creepy, too, indeed! The best new pastiche I've read lately was Dust and Shadow by Lindsay Faye, though, very dark mood and really touching.

The game leaves a lot of unaswered questions.

Indeed. I was starting to think I just missed some vital clues, but as you don't seem to have answers to these questions, too...
I remember Watson giving some explanation on why he went to the sewers, but I was like "WTF what a stupid reason!". I've even forgotten it by now.

There was a rather long development time though, and I think in the end they were under a lot of stress to just finally get the damn game on the market.
