I must admit that I was expecting way less Russian.

LJ seems to be quite popular in Russian. They make a significant number of Cyrillic-font comments on official (in english) LJ communities/news.

Of course, hitting that page after most US folks would be sleeping is probably partially affecting the percentages.

It is kind of creepy tho.

I don't even think the majority of it is actual exhibitionism. I think it's just mental laziness -- people not thinking it through.
