LOVE the narrative. It reads like a screenplay. I was completely absorbed.

But, I am ashamed to admit, I just don't understand Star Wars.

It's probably at least in part because you're a girl. Not that there aren't lots of girl fans, but boys are, numerically and statistically, drawn more to both sci-fi and swashbuckling, both of which are found in Star Wars, by the bucketload... I mean, come on, it not only combines swords and lasers, but it literally combines swords with lasers!

Remember, I am the one who *adores* the Godfather movies as well as h2g2 and LotR. That gives me ample dose of guns, sci-fi and swords.

So, it's not a girl vs. boy thing. :P
