Thanks! It is indeed. I have been there several times over the years and always look forward to going back for one reason or another. (Not to mention that my first DCD cassette was purchased there. ;)
your reference to Atlas makes a lot of sense, actually...i just wish the nuts and bolts would stay in place already, though! i am bad about being able to enjoy those moments...but you have a good way of thinking about it...someone please come work on that righty tighty stuff!
and these pics are so beautiful...they totally remind me of bob ross paintings, down to the happy little tree... ;)
I try to spice life with a little humor when times are tough. :) There's always something to enjoy anyway. Despite all the difficulties your family has been through, you still have that wonderful family in the first place. Alas, the gods of Mt. Olympus fall prey to the cosmic lure of ice cream just as you and I do. Thanks! I was so swept up in the beauty of my surroundings that I didn't spend too much time with the shots but I think they came out pretty good.
I've been sort of checking out your "posts" from time to time, looking especially at the photos because I like your way with things photographic. But this is especially accessible. Thanks.
It was so beautiful Nanne. I had a canoe and a small boat with a motor. The fish avoided me at all costs but here a moose, there a moose, everywhere a moose moose!
> It was a strange word, somehow many images squashed together into a confused pastiche, but also a thing unto itself; starting with a majestic glimmer of hope but trailing into a panic of choppy consonants that finally winked out with a blasé whimper and a twang of guitar.
Oof. What an *awesome* sentence. I shall memorize this and use it sometime. All I need to do is manipulate a scenario where every action or word works towards that perfect moment when you know you want to say something very specific and you get the right opportunity to do precisely that.
> When you settle into just the right place something wonderful usually happens and it becomes like a sanctuary where the world can whirl safely around you.
