3rd Piece of Eight | [accidental voice/action]

Apr 06, 2009 19:34

[At first there's silence and then there's a slow, sad melody coming across the journals. It sounds a little like this.

As for Tia, she can be found sitting on the banks of the river just outside the town, locket in hand, should anyone wish to bother her.]

[There's what could almost be called a softness in her voice when she answers.]

[Guy debates prying for a second.]

[There's a pause and the music shuts off with a click - she's shut the locket.]

It used to be, once.

[Katara's walking down by the river, as well. She stops as she sees the familiar face.]

... That's a beautiful song.

[There's a sort of reminiscing look on her face when she answers.]

[She's a little hesitant, but she sits nearby. Not too close, because there's still that lingering intimidation and awe that she's in the presence of what would equal to what her people worship back home.]

... Sounds like a sad story.

Because de song for whom it was written is long dead, now.

[Considering his recent talk with Stella about swimming and the weather, Walter has taken to swimming in the river beginning at the base of the mountain and through its branches to the lakes. In the calmer waters by the town, he may be noticeable under the water. Especially while his hair shines blue.]

[Noticeable indeed~. Sup, have a sea goddess poking her head underwater to watch.]

[Walter is pretty chill while he's underwater, minding his own business as he swims with the current.

He does, however, take notice of something entering the water out of the corner of his eye. And he does a double-take, staring as if someone had just caught him doing something embarrassing.]

[There's just a smile and a wave from Tia. 'Sup, just a sea goddess.]

[Emil has been out wandering around on his "patrol" when he hears the melody and stops to listen. Something about it causes a painful feeling to well up in his heart, though he's not sure why.]

[Well, it might be because it's a fairly sad tune...]

[He's not going to say anything at first, just stand there listening quietly.]

[After a while, the tune winds to a close and she shuts the locket with a soft click.]
