The only way i've been able to sleep for more than a few hours recently is by drinking a few too many ;)

And i've tried most of those things so far... problem is just that there's too much going on in my head!
A quick, ultra cheap holiday might be needed next weekend!

How about on Saturday afternoon I drag you around Harbourtown for a few hours, then you go bowling for Aaron's, then go home and I'll give you some Tramadol- you'll sleep like a baby! :)

Sounds wonderful!!
And I do need some good (window) shopping therapy and girly chats ;)
We told Mikey we might be able to help him move, but we'll see how much sleep i can manage tonight...
at least we don't have to go car shopping tomorrow *phew*!

Considering how much stress you've been under it's a miracle you can sleep at all! I will let you off the hook if you're not up to it, just make sure you're alright.

If it helps any, I can burn you a CD that I got from one of my lecturers, it plays soothing sounds and weird sound waves in order to help you relax. I've found it very helpful to listen to prior to sleeping.

I'm a weird sleeper.

I sleep with earplugs, for one. I can't sleep without them. Any sound is too much. Nor can I sleep with even a hint of light.

I know what you mean, when your mind won't settle. I tried counting, but I wander off..

I close my eyes and look at the shapes the electricity behind my eyes shows me, watch as it forms and image.. bring it forth and start anew.

Weird.

Its amazing how many other things you can think about while counting :)

I've found this unit to be sooo quiet at night, its actually quite off-putting and I really need music or something, but all our means of making sound are restricted to the computers and tv... my cd players etc. have all broken!
