Seriously start threatening legal action for the inconvenience he is causing you- ie travel time and expenses, tme off work etc etc- hopefully he'll be scared enough to get his act together!
I had a quick look on the web and there seems to be nothing I can do for this... there's no warrenty cause the car's over 14 years old and the cheques already cashed, and I've checked the papers and he hasn't written all of the adjustments down on the final sale document, so he could turn around and claim no knowledge of promising to fix these things. I made a mistake and gave him the original document back, even though part of me was screaming "Don't!"! He'd re-written the contract cause the price changed and left out half of the work that he'd agreed to do, so we're kinda just glad he's still agreed to do it.
This is getting kind of ridiculous. sebastianne is right start threatening legal action. Follow through with a complaint to the Ministry of Fair Trading regardless of what happens though.
Jeez Anne-Louise! What's going on? Is it a sign? Hoe things improve. I've burned that hypno-relaxation disc, email me your address and I'll put it in the post for you.
Yep, same place :/ Its kinda getting on my nerves, but hopefully after he's fixed it this last time, there'll be no hassels. I'm certainly never stepping into his yard again afterwards!!
Oh yeah, and its Auto Supreme in prindiville dr, wangara... tell your friends (never to buy a car off them!!) ;P

Here's a link to the website that has the call centre number on it http://www.docep.wa.gov.au/default.asp?id=cp/dev_consumers/ssi/index&menu=cp_consumer
There are such things as statutory obligations, even if something is second hand. I'd check with them if things don't improve.

however, a written complain the DOCEP may result in the dealer being given a little bit of a hard time by the boys in the Motor Vehicles Branch... ; D
but if you suspect that this might cause you grief, what until you've got your car back...
