I UNDERSTAND TRIGONOMETRY.

I didn't the first time around. I understood some of it, but not really-- I was just scraping by, you know, getting things right by luck, by good guessing and by remembering little rules without really knowing them and why they exist and then being rewarded with a unit circle which did most of my thinking for me.

Hey! Trig is easy! Just remember the unit circle and that sine is always y and cosine is always x. Wheeee!

He's not giving us a unit circle on the first part of the exam. Which worried me.

Didn't he teach you that trick for remembering the sines on the first quadrant? If you know that, you know the whole circle.
