Question Meme

I was going to do this when Hatter hit 10,000 comments, but I've seen it around. And it's a fun meme. And I'm bored. Whatever, Hatter's over 9,000, so close enough.

ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character or maybe what you have been ( Read more... )

Can I get some kind of relationship thing for Luffy and Ion?

You totally can!

Luffy and Ion's threads make me ridiculously happy. Seriously. They are just so very cute. And the thing with Luffy is that he tends to bring out the little boy in Ion and make him stop trying to be so serious. So he ends up doing things he normally wouldn't, like getting in food fights, but he HAS TO with Luffy. It's like a matter of HONOR. He also kind of finds Luffy honorable and wellmeaning under all of the dumb and food and paint fights, so he's getting to respect him.

They should play more.

The reverse?

I am sort of fascinated by the whole aversion to David's gooshy feelings, if you wanted to expand on those some?

Look I put a question mark at the end, that makes it a question

I can totally elaborate on that.

Hatter is not really well, as a person, in case the whole rapist clown demon thing wasn't a give away. Xe's the Satan of Pride, and I think is proud, in a lot of ways. Xe's got a lot of issues wound up between being worthless (since that's what the name Belial means), and being dangerous, powerful and useful to Lucifer. Hir issues are farther compounded by hir experiences as... sort of a trans-ungendered person, and hir sexual experience. It creates a huge, and often complex emotional mess, and it mostly ends up relatively stable through a balance of masochism and egotism and narcissism and power that's had several thousand years to evolve ( ... )

Not as much as it could have, honestly! Really, David treats his interaction with Hatter as sort of a... pantomime? I'm not sure that's entirely the right word, but. Basically David is really, really aware that messing about with Hatter is probably a terrible idea. Okay, his understanding of human-shaped demons is still limited and theoretical (it is really hard to take some of those books seriously, okay), but he's smart enough to know Hatter could be trouble. But he is curious and nearly incapable of being impolite without a good reason, and so is perfectly happy to go on acting like he and Hatter have a more or less Normal-People interaction ( ... )

It's okay. XD

Hmmm.

Any ideas how David would react if he found out how Hatter reacts to his gooshy feelings?

About 1/5 of the time, seriously. I normally catch it though, I think. When you asked, I had to double check to make sure I hadn't done it in this post. I am a winner, can you tell?

You only have the one character, right? Do you think you'll app more, or do you like just having one?

Hatter is from Angel Sanctuary, which is sort of a mess of pretty shoujo action romance incest weirdness. Is "lol canon" a genre?

Tell me about Miranda! What drew you to her?

Hatter and Akito, go. And they should (?!) thread again sometime. ♥

Yes, yes, they should. Though Momiji might have a heart attack or something. I will try to keep an eye open for Akito out, but feel free to poke me whenever, if you want me to tag.

Akito is a weird case. There are things about him that Hatter could have potentially sympathized with, because Hatter's not totally incapable of sympathy, and has some points that could be interesting in a way not related to catfights, trolling or death threats. Unfortunately, Akito also hits a number of Hatter's badpings, particularly with the god thing, but also the sort of attitude of privilege and superiority, which sort of makes Hatter want to poke and badtouch and generally do not terribly nice things.

Reverse!

Nnngh, Hatter is such a Do Not Want. He offends Akito, because he exists as both a woman and a man. Akito is not in the least the biggest supporter of self-love, so it makes Hatter such a vile and disgusting creature, too. It's almost like a mirror where Akito has to wonder if he repulses others on the same level that Hatter repulses him. Still, Hatter doesn't gain hatred from Akito, because he's not worth the energy. He's a nuisance with no art or tact to Akito. He can be dealt with.

So, Ion's canon! Should I cave and read it?

andcontrarywise July 6 2010, 02:20:09 UTC
Well, I'm biased. I like Ion's canon. Whether or not you should cave, though, depends on your pings. It's sort of fun for post-apocalyptic, and the vampires are, I think, the kind you can like if you like traditional vampires, or popular media vampires, and if you don't. They're similar enough that the core of the attraction is still there, but they're different enough that if you're not into the tropes you normally associate with them, you avoid a lot of the worst cliches. Especially if you get deeper into the story. At the same time, the sci-fi probably won't appeal to you unless you're cool with a certain level of ridiculous science--if you don't normally like science fiction, it's not going to convert you, and if you normally like hard science fiction, where the science and reasoning is at least plausible, it will probably give you an allergic reaction.

I think it's fun though, and worth giving a chance.

What canons normally ping you?

Hatter's thoughts on the other Lucifer? Or the battle Raidou had with him in general.

Reply

andcontrarywise July 5 2010, 22:44:21 UTC
The other Lucifers are a sort of confusing subject with Hatter. Xe ends up loving them and hating them because they're Lucifer, but not hir Lucifer. And it starts an emotional sort of hiccup in Hatter that's really just pretty weird in general. Xe's not invested, but xe cares, except xe doesn't want to, but damn xe'd do any of them just to have done A Lucifer.

The battle itself is interesting. Hatter is kind of amused by Raidou, and curious. Xe wonders how he ends up doing all of this stuff.

Raidou's thoughts on the angels in camp?

Reply

lol_intertubes July 5 2010, 23:16:20 UTC
It really depends on the angel. Raidou is quite fond of Castiel, for example, while he outright loathes Zachariah. He's mostly neutral on the rest, although one of the Gabriels got off on the wrong foot with him by whisking him into the library without asking. In Raidou's line of work, this tends to result in the other party trying to kill him, so he was not pleased. I don't know that he's met Setsuna; I think he talked to Sara once when she was turned into Doll, but other than that I don't believe they've threaded at all.

In general, he tends to lump angels in the same category with demons, since in his world they are in the same category; he knows it's something of a touchy subject with some angels (and demons), though, so he doesn't really mention it, especially to people in camp. Unless he's seven and doesn't know any better. XD

Speaking of which, Hatter's thoughts on tinyRaidou?

Reply

andcontrarywise July 5 2010, 23:23:58 UTC
TinyRaidou was adorable, and full of interesting information. Such as angels and demons being more or less the same thing in his world. That was a load of laughs. Hatter will totally remember it.

What did Zachariah do to make Raidou hate him? (Though I think most people do hate him.)
