I dunno how snakes can make anyone feel creepy.

Its just.... beyond my scope of imagination.

Then again, it's monkeys that make me shudder.

As she's going to be six meters I /have/ to get her trained young.

Big snakes are too dangerous if they aren't tame. I've heard of smaller ones killing people in the US.

Wow, she looks so little at the moment - although I realise that's partially the fact that I can only see her head and tail *g*

The photo of Ishida makes my neck hurt just looking at it *g*

She is little at the moment. Under two feet.

Hard to imagine how she's going to grow to seven feet in two years.

Aw, that's tiny! She must look particularly tiny next to the others!

Hehe, god willing she won't even get close enough for clear comparisons. Snakes do not play well.

But, yeah, I had Seraphim out today and she's pushing seven feet now. She was across my neck AND around my waist and little Giovanni just wraps neatly around my wrist twice.

Broken images are broken.

OH WAIT OH WAIT no now they are not! WOW what a cool snake! Is it local to Australia?

Which one?

Actually they both are. It's illegal to own any snakes that AREN'T australian natives in Australia. Likewise for insects.

Oh ok. Now it's obvious. they are not the same snake! Now you probably think I am one of those kind of people who think all Aussie snakes look alike!

That said, at this point I especially like the slender headed one peeping cautiously out of the box. Giovanni I presume?

But both are frikkin cool. I think I know how the he snake got his head there, but I don't think I can put it into words concisely enough for here.

*blink*

I'm not sure why anyone would think aussie snakes looked more alike than snakes in general, but okay? Maybe if you're more accustom to identifying other kinds--but I know aussie breeds are very predominate in American pets stores.

Giovanni, the olive python, is the top picture. Ishida, the jungle python, is the bottom picture. Giovanni will get to six meters, she's about two feet now. She won't be so slender then...
