The New Yorker has entered a swirling nexus of redundancy. It is one of the last reliable outlets for literary criticism, and they have decided to exhume a classic that is more often revered than any work. The new translation's worth is the only thing that would interest me in this review. I can't believe he said nothing about it. MAJOR OVERSIGHT?

I'm scanning over it again...I mean, there is a sentence or two casually mention some complaints about the old translation...but the focus of the article is on the story itself.
