I wonder when evolution will be taught in schools. They preface the shit out of you and say that it is just a theory (as if it is just as likely as the bible). Has no one pointed out to certain folks that the term "theory" is not synonymous with "hypothesis?" We say "theory" when explaining a certain process that consists of multiple processes. It

i once saw a show about this small town preacher who wanted to get creationism taught in science class because apparently evolution was being taught and he argued that it was fair to give the kids a "comparison theory," but the schoolboard wouldn't have it since creationism isn't scientific in any way, so this preacher and his lawyer started digging around for a loophole and found the intelligent design theory and figured they could get THAT taught in science class, i guess because it invovles bigger words, or maybe because it's considered a theory instead of a myth, so anyway they started editing their creationism textbook that they'd wanted the schools to use by replacing the word "creator" with "intelligent being" everywhere it appeared, but they did a shitty editing job and there were spots in the book that said "cintelligent beingr" and shit. the end. oh and they didn't get away with it
