DongHyun strode down the hallway toward the saale, where he could hear the all-too-familiar shouts between the twins. Dara had told him there was trouble, and as usual, she was right. It helped to have someone he trusted watching the security cameras. The scene when he walked into the room was only marginally saner than last time.

HyunSung had KwangMin in a headlock, bent over backwards, the younger twin's sword on the ground at his feet. JungMin had wrestled YoungMin to the floor and sat on him, one foot on the older twin's wrist. YoungMin still gripped his sword. DongHyun stopped and folded his arms over his chest, watching them. Neither of the twins would meet his eyes. He looked around to find Minwoo pressed into the corner to stay out of the way. Smart, something DongHyun had always attributed to him. With a quick movement, DongHyun picked up KwangMin's sword, and then pulled YoungMin's from his hand, ignoring the blond's protest.

"I see that you two aren't ready for this advanced training yet," DongHyun said, careful to let them hear his disappointment. "We'll have to try Fei's idea.

"What's that?" KwangMin asked warily.

"Bring them, will you?" DongHyun asked, ignoring KwangMin.

HyunSung shifted his grip so that KwangMin could walk, and JungMin hauled YoungMin to his feet. They fell in behind DongHyun as he led them toward the little used room at the end of the hall. He'd never wanted to know why it was there, but at least right now it was useful. Padded walls, no sharp corners, it was an uncomfortable reminder of the so-called padded rooms in the world he'd come from. For this, though, it would work.

When DongHyun turned around, YoungMin looked worried. Good. Maybe this would get through at least to one of them. "Strip."

KwangMin's eyes bugged. "What?"

"You'll go in there with only the weapons you were born with," DongHyun said flatly. "You're so determined to kill each other, you can go in there and try." He threw the door open, then helped HyunSung pull KwangMin's shirt off when he stood staring in disbelief at DongHyun.

"You promised it would be better here," he said finally, when he stood there in nothing but boxers, weapons in a pile on top of his clothes.

"It is," DongHyun said flatly. "I will not tolerate this antagonism between you, trained or not. You are humans, you can think, and you can choose to stop this. It is up to you. If you come out of this room with the same enmity, without even trying to work it out, then you'll go back to the pits. I won't have it. Understood?"

"Go back?" YoungMin asked, stunned. DongHyun turned to look at him, just as undressed as his twin. "You mean… sell us back?"

"I don't want to. But I will not have this fighting, and I'm tired of trying to explain it. I figure you can either get through this, or I can send you back."

KwangMin stared at him, eyes narrowed. "Why are you blaming us?"

"Why aren't you trying to get along?" DongHyun shot back. "I get it. You've been trained to hate your brother." His eyes narrowed at KwangMin's flinch. "And not just your brother, your twin. I don't care if he's older, the point is, you haven't tried to reconcile what they've told you with the reality." He turned on YoungMin. "Neither of you have. It's time you tried to show who you really are, instead of the lies you were told about each other." He grabbed YoungMin's arm and shoved him in; before he'd recovered, DongHyun did the same with KwangMin, and then shut the door, locking it.

"Are you sure about this?" HyunSung asked.

DongHyun shook his head. "No," he said. "But if they'd done something to Minwoo, or one of you…." He shook his head. "I won't take that chance. I want them," he said quietly. "I know they'll be an asset to this company, to this group, but not as they are. If they can't change… there's no point to trying. I'll send them back."

"I hope you don't have to," JungMin said.

DongHyun clapped him on the shoulder. "Thanks," he said. "Me, too. Go check on Minwoo, will you? I'm going to join Dana and see if anything I said got through to them."

JungMin nodded and strode off, and HyunSung fell in behind DongHyun as he walked toward the security office. DongHyun let him follow.

"I can't believe this," KwangMin muttered, pacing along one of the padded walls.

"I think he's right," YoungMin said flatly, sitting down against the wall opposite. "And I don't want to go back."

KwangMin turned to look at him. "You think he's right about what?"

"Everything," YoungMin said. "Mostly that it has to stop." He got to his feet and walked across the room.

KwangMin backed into the wall. "What are you doing?"

YoungMin smiled. "Hi. My name's YoungMin. It's nice to meet you." He held out a hand. "What's your name?"

KwangMin's eyes narrowed, and he batted the hand away. "Don't try anything."

YoungMin grinned. "That's a very odd name. Should I call you Don't or Anything?"

"What?"

"Do I really have to explain it to you?"

KwangMin stared at him for a moment, then he burst into laughter. YoungMin grinned and sat down in front of him, gesturing for him to join him. Rolling his eyes, KwangMin sat down as well. "No," he said, and offered his hand, hesitantly. "KwangMin."

YoungMin took the offered hand and shook it. It was, he was pretty sure, the first time they'd actually shaken hands, the first touch between them that didn't have force and a will to injure behind it. At least, he had to remind himself, that he could remember.

Hopefully it'd be enough.
