What is my Christmas Wish List for our Country?
I have seven in my wish list. Why seven? They say it is a lucky number. I think five is too small a number and having ten would be too much. Anyway, here goes.
7. Peace in Mindanao. I really do want World Peace. And I think that a peaceful Mindanao is a start for a peaceful Philippines.
6. Resignation of Gloria. She should know that she is not being a very effective president. And that I wish she would have dignity to step down.
5. CARP's Strict Implementation. A lot of people would benefit from this. I wish that people would be unselfish and share what should be for others.
4. Food and Clothes for the People
3. A Life-Sustaining Job for Everyone. If everyone had a job that is even just enough, no one would get hungry.
2. People's Awareness on the State of our People. People need to be aware that there are other people in this world. Other people are suffering. And by knowing this, it would be a start that others would help out.
And at number 1, the Willingness to Help. It is not enough that people know the real situation. They should be willing to help out and really do something about it. Otherwise, nothing would happen even if everybody knew. We all have to act. Even our own little way, we should try to help out. And this should be something that comes from the heart. Because one can only do so much if she does not put her heart into it.
