Woah.. Just woah. This is freaky. One of my friends think it's the funniest thing ever, and I suppose I can see the amusing side, but still the poor guy has a wife and kids. It's sad.. I never really liked Steve Irwin -I found him irritating and it annoyed me that because of him, most of America (and the rest of the world) probably believes that

Seriously. So sad about Steve. It's sort of expected that sooner or later, something like this was going to happen to him. You know, it comes with the territory, that kind of thing. But still. His wife, his kids -- I feel SO sorry for them. Gack. Life is far too short.

I think the saddest thing about this whole ordeal is what it must be like for his family and friends. I've heard so many people laugh this off and think the irony of it is so hilarious, but really if you sit down and think about the impact his death must of had on the people who care about him, it really isn't a laughing matter at all.

And now with Peter Brock dying as well, it really is a bad week for Australian icons ...
