she passed away this morning. we're leaving for illinois tomorrow morning. we'll be back tuesday night.

i hope everyone had a better thanksgiving than i did.

a cold and wet november dawn and there are no barking sparrows, just emptiness to dwell upon. i fell into a winter slide and ended up the kind of kid who goes down chutes too narrow.

i'm just waiting for that phone call. so i can pack and be on that plane to illinois.
