How are you?? I feel awful for not having kept up to date with everyone; got a bit overwhelmed by life and have been trying to keep it simple. But I hope things are well with you.
Creepy? Hmmm I suppose so, to some extent. It's a bit eerie, his photos are so convincing that it takes a while to realise that they all have something slightly 'wrong' with them.

Well I meant creepy in a eery sort of way...somethings wrong and that sort of 'happy' campy exotified capitalist sexualized colonialization implied in some of the pictures is kinda creepy.

Really good point -- I know that at least part of his stated intention is to take the objectification/sexualisation of native people in art and turn it around entirely. Your comment made me think about his work in a more critical way, but I'm still not sure where I stand.
