I've never had much interest in reality TV because of the obvious lack of reality to any of it.

It is shows like these that make me glad I am too cheap - no, frugal - to have cable in order to have any TV reception.

Who needs cable nowadays anyway? Between Netflix and my broadband connection I can see whatever I want.

Andi, absolutely spot on. I don't watch any of the reality shows. Unfortunately, reality shows are easier to script than actual programs with intelligent conversation not to mention plot lines. And truly, how many dancing/singing/dating/marriage/apprentice/cooking/model/make-over shows do we need? And those home make-over shows that the people end up losing the house a couple of years down the road.....Octomom definitely needs all her kids taken away and given to someone who gives a damn about them. She clearly doesn't. And she never needs to have another child again.
