I spent my first night in the new condo last night. The place is a mess, with boxes and bags stuffed everywhere. I look at it all and think I will never get everything put away and organized. I signed the papers for the condo at closing yesterday and the place belongs to me officially (if not physically yet because I have to wait for the previous owners to move in 6 weeks) But what an amazing feeling it is to know the place is mine now. If you read my last blog, you know that my mom went into the hospital the night before Thanksgiving. She was incredibly weak and it had been a horrible struggle just to take her out of the nursing home to go sign the papers on the sale of her house.
