Broken Social Scene tore up the stage last Tuesday night with a 2 and-a-half-hour set that left my mouth pasty and my ears tingling. Last night Tom, Louis, and I snuck into Pearl Jam! Pearl Fuckin' Jam! Tom and Louis had snuck into 4 shows at the Saddledome and that one marked their fifth successful entry without a ticket. as i was reading about the devastation, unsanitary conditions of new orleans and the surrounding areas, it occurred to me how similar the conditions are to much of the developing world... the only difference is that they have gotten used to it. and so have we.
